*Our Check in/out Times

Guests may check in between 2pm and 8pm  on weekends and 3pm and 8pm on  weekdays.  we ask that you check out by 11am on day of departure unless an agreed arrangement is made. If you require a later check in or check out time please arrange this prior to your stay.


We kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your stay with us. If you can not let us know within 4 weeks prior to your arrival your deposit will not be refunded.. If we can reallocate the pod we are happy to change your date to another time which suits both you and Braehead.

In the exceptional event whereby we have to cancel your stay with us your full balance will be refunded and we will do our best to book you in at another time.


A deposit of 40% must be paid when booking your stay. The outstanding balance must be paid on arrival. In the event of non payment we reserve the right to cancel your stay and no refund will be given.

*Taking care of our pods and all equipment in them

We ask that all guests take exceptional care of our Pods and everything in them, anything damaged must be paid for.

*Music and noise levels

Braehead caters for everyone and we ask for everyone to be respectful of others. Music can only be played in your own pod or in the Bothy at a reasonable level as to not disturb anyone living close by.


Pod & site Rules

We very kindly ask if you could or could not do the following so we can ensure our pods and site are well looked after and ready for others to enjoy also.

Bedding Hire

AS you will see bedding is not provided in our Camper pods, this doesnt mean  a little more luxury cant be added. . Bedding can be hired and prepared in your pod for your arrival. 

prices are per person per stay (not per night) as follows:-

£6 per Adult or child for duvet and pillows.

£3 per sleeping bag (children will be given sleeping bags unless specified) if your child/ren would like a duvet set also then this will also be £6. 


Firewood for the fire pits can be bought on site for £5 per starter box, this includes fire lighters and  kindling. Any additional firewood can be bought at £4 per box. you are not permitted to bring your own firewood onto the site. 

Additional Information 

*no Open flames in the pods

*No cooking in the pods - cooking can take place in the bothy, please make sure you tidy up after using the facilities ready for the next guests and return all washed crockery to the bothy (dishwashing area on site).Cooking can also take place on the outdoor fire pit or you may  hire a Camping stove. Throw away bbq’s will also be allowed or available to buy at reception but must be used on area provided on the grass and not on the decking.

*if your pod allows pets please do not leave your pet unattended in the pod at any time.

*Please remember we provide accommodation for everyone, including families so please keep noise levels down after 10pm

*Please recycle any rubbish and use the provided bins to do so

* please drive in and out of the site carefully at 5mph

*no smoking in the pods, Bothy or toilet/shower blocks
